One of our clients in Dyer, TN had a spacious backyard in need of some TLC. Aside from a previously installed stone patio, it was mostly a place of weeds and mud. Our designer worked with the homeowner and came up with a plan for a more finished and refined landscape of rocks and mulch beds, with play areas for the kids.
We used stacked stones to separate the mulch areas from the new walkways, created with crushed rocks. Before the mulch was put down, a sprinkler system was installed to take care of the incoming plants. Within the mulch beds, we planted banana plants, pink coneflowers, ornamental garlic, daisies, Camilla, maiden grass, hydrangeas, elephant ears, hardy hibiscus, and crepe myrtle. We can’t wait until spring to see it in all its glory!
